New Year, New You

Is it just me.. or is 'less' actually starting to become 'more'?

From smaller homes to the desire to have less stuff, we see a trend coming.. speaking of, have you heard of a Capsule Wardrobe or Project 333?  There's been a lot of buzz about it, so I wanted to know more.

What is a capsule wardrobe anyways?

Simple definition: A mini wardrobe that’s made up of really basic, versatile and quality pieces that you totally LOVE to wear.

✨ Capsule Wardrobe ✨

You can decide on the number that works for you, but the concept is simple:  A  30-40 piece wardrobe that includes tops, bottoms, dresses, outerwear, shoes and accessories.  You can either do it by season or a year- round wardrobe.

A capsule wardrobe represents more time + more money + more energy for the things that really matter to me.

I’m all about minimizing my mental space and this is the #1 reason why I have started a capsule wardrobe and my minimalistic journey. Once you put one together the clothes you love, that fit right and look great on you, you won’t ever have to think about how to put an outfit together again. EVER.  By default, it comes with financial savings (less shopping, more time (not being spent on wondering what you’ll wear) and more energy to invest on things that really matter.  For me that’s my family, my business and of course my health.

Try it. Do a search on Pinterest for Capsule Wardrobe and the ideas are endless!

👉👉 And for pieces that you will actually love check out our friends at Jayne Nash and Harper and Reed (website coming soon). These military spouses have started a good thing. 😍

Here’s to more bliss in 2018.
